Do YOU Want to Be Part of a New Testament-Patterned Church?
by Craig Harbin
In the Bible:
1. Disciples are called Christians - a name ALL believers in Jesus
Christ can wear (Acts 11:26).
2. There are NO denominations which destroy the unity Christ
desires (John 17:21, 1 Corinthians 1:10)
3. Salvation from sin comes by God's grace.
His grace must be received b y faith in the death of Jesus, repentance, confession and baptism (Ephesians 2:8, Luke
13:3, Romans 10:9, 1 Peter 3:21)
4. Baptism is the immersion in water of a person of faith.
It is the point at which God grants forgiveness of sins and gives His Holy Spirit to indwell the saved (Acts
2:38)
5. Believers in Jesus Christ assemble each first day of the week to hear the
word preached, fellowship, pray, give offerings, sing and share the Lord's Supper, also called communion (Acts
2:42, Ephesians 5:19, 1 Corinthians 16:2).
6. Christians encourage each other to love God and love mankind while
resisting sin so that we might never give up our salvation.
JESUS CHRIST IS COMING
AGAIN!
(Hebrews 6:4-6, 1 Thessalonians 4:16)
